Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- provide exceptional support and creative solutions for customers and territory managers
- be on the lookout for ways to improve each customer's experience
- must be a sensitive and skillful communicator both on the phone and email, who can adapt your tone and communication style depending on your audience
- general product and process knowledge of Guilford of Maine product categories
- communicate with internal and external customers, account managers, service support, quality, appropriate management, operations, sales service, and merchandising services personnel
- provide back up support for Sales Service Specialist with data and phone queue
- administrative tasks as required
- perform miscellaneous duties as necessary
- follow safe work practices
- support LEAN, safety, sustainability, and environmental initiatives
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- two years marketing/sales experience
- must have a high school diploma or equivalent
- proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, website)
- contract textile knowledge desired but not mandatory
- a self-starter who takes ownership and pride in your work
- a creative and innovative problem solver
- must have patience, consistency and empathy
- a master multitasker who is extremely organized and attentive to detail
- highly proficient in navigating multiple tabs and windows
- ability to work independently and as part of a cohesive team
- excellent decision making, judgment and interpersonal skills
- ability to stay energized and motivated in high-volume work environment
- must be flexible in terms of work schedules
- must have data entry ability with a high level of accuracy
- must be dependable, punctual, and adhere to attendance policy
- must adhere to all company policies and procedures
- must be able to prioritize duties and maintain schedule requirements
- must be cooperative and willing to learn new responsibilities using supporting applications

Physical Demands
