Duvaltex has been developing and weaving medical and technical textiles for the healthcare industry for more than 20 years. Our Canadian and U.S. facilities manufacture high-performance medical textiles to protect both the patient and the healthcare personnel from the transfer of microorganisms, body fluids and particulate matter. Made from durable, soft touch engineered fabrics, our medical textiles are reusable up to 100 times.

Personal protective equipment (ppe)
Our engineered fabrics are woven to make medical gowns, drapes, wrappers, hospital gowns, laboratory and protective clothing and can be washed and reused up to 100 times.
End uses: Minimal risk: to be used, for example, during basic care, standard isolation, as a cover gown for visitors, or in a standard medical unit.
- Comfortable and breathable polyester fabric
- Used for MINIMAL risk situations
- Provides a slight barrier to small amounts of fluid penetration
- A single water-barrier performance test is conducted to assess how water affects the surface of the gown material
- Can be washed and reused up to 100 times

Our engineered fabrics are woven to make medical gowns, drapes, wrappers, hospital gowns, laboratory and protective clothing and can be washed and reused up to 100 times.
End uses: Low risk: to be used, for example, when drawing blood, suturing, in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) or a pathology lab.
- Liquid-resistant polyester barrier fabric that is breathable and soft touch
- Used in LOW risk situations
- Provides a barrier to larger amounts of fluid penetration through splatter and some fluid exposure through soaking

End uses: Minimal risk: to be used, for example, during basic care, standard isolation or in a standard medical unit. Can be used for other common medical garments and products.
